Tim Davis Sr.

Mr. Davis began his career in auto collision claims industry in Burbank, California in the spring of 1972, ground-up. He worked to quickly become dealership repair center manager. And as his career developed, the dealership grew and he became general manger of multi-store operation. Mr. Davis attended the General Motors Acceptance Corporation Management Program earning high marks. Tim credits his early management and GM learning for helping to shape - and methodically move forward - a laser-like focus and practical vision of client service excellence and vehicle owner satisfaction, one that Mr. Davis and SCA lead with today. In 1976, Davis joined Farmers Insurance, rapidly elevating to executive claims management positions of trust and leadership.

Then In 1979, he and wife Paula Davis, a seasoned claims professional with State Farm, set out to create SCA Appraisal Company - leading to the formalization of a unique strategy for the organization to become what is now the best-in-class national material damage appraisal firm.

Starting her career at State Farm in 1975, Paula served as an inside claims adjuster/claims processor. In this capacity she performed highly and learned the trade of insurance claims adjusting.

In 1978, Tim and Paula Davis began formulating plans to launch a new private company. This new business endeavor was their first entrepreneurial venture. Poised with vision and youthful enthusiasm, they strived to create a claims management business that was rooted in a deep desire to succeed by providing great service to the customer.

In 1979, SCA Appraisal Company was formed. With the launch of SCA Appraisal Company, Paula was catapulted into the duties of building an internal claims workflow and the financial structure of a new business. As well, Paula solely provided inside claims support and personally serviced every person that called the SCA office. Tim and Paula were truly building the foundation of the company and core values we still adhere to.

Currently, as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Paula continues to serve in the area of financial oversight and closely monitors the company’s direction and momentum.

Larry Jordan has been President of the Company since July 2008. During his illustrious 30 year business career, he has held senior management positions with Meineke Discount, Firestone, Maaco Enterprises, St. Andrews Golf Corporation and Property Damage Appraisers, Inc.

Mr. Jordan is recognized as a skilled management specialist with a unique background in business model development, marketing strategy and organizational leadership. He has gained special skills in designing and managing franchise-based distribution companies in both service and product-related enterprises.

Mr. Jordan graduated from Lamar College in Beaumont, Texas in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Following graduation, he joined the US Air Force and served as Captain and C 130 Hercules pilot for five years.

In 2002, Tim joined SCA Appraisal Company immediately re-engineering the company’s Operations and Client Services charter. Tim built and deployed a centralized business model, successfully formulating a vision that is revolutionizing SCA’s unique approach to service and quality. With an ongoing emphasis on quality people, technology and workflow, Tim's goal is to redefine excellence in the independent claims industry.

After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Tim served as a political staff member and campaign strategist for a United States Congressman. Tim started his insurance career with Progressive, extensively trained in multi-level claims management and material damage assessment. In 1998 Tim was selected to join Progressive’s "management fast-track program," directly recruited into the comprehensive, accelerated management and leadership program.

Tim's passion is to position SCA Appraisal Company where we can bring great value and development to the insurance claims industry.

Jon M. Gironda

Jon Gironda is a proven industry leader, with experience in auto collision and claims that spans two decades. Prior to joining SCA, Jon held positions as Sr. Field Appraiser, Field Supervisor, Regional Trainer, and SIU Investigator for Progressive Insurance.

Mr. Gironda joined SCA as the firms National Operations Director in 1999 and promoted to SCA's Sr. V.P. of Operations in 2004, and then on to Vice President of SCA Franchising in 2008. Mr. Gironda has been involved in every aspect of the company's vision, quality and commitment to excellence. Is a graduate of Cal State Northridge and holds multiple Progressive Insurance certifications and is California Fair Claims Regulations Act Certified. In his new position with the franchisor, Mr. Gironda will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing franchise operations.
